Eligibility Criteria

  1. The Admission in the D-Pharmacy course will be through online counseling to be conducted by Punjab State Faculty of Ayurvedic and Unani System of Medicine, Mohali & as per the notification of Punjab Govt.
    • The candidates must have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent exam (As regular, open or private candidate) from a recognized institution situated in Punjab.
    • Preference will be given to candidates who have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathmatics.
    • If candidate(s) from Punjab are not available, then candidate from other states shall also be considered.
    • The candidate must have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of that particular year.

EXEMPTIONS IN ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The condition of having passed 10th as regular candidate from a recognized institution situated in Punjab given in Para 1.3 above shall not be applicable to the following categories of candidates:

  • Children/wards/dependents (whose parents are not alive) of the all those regulation Punjab Government Employees, Member of all India services born on Punjab cadre. Serving judge and the employees of the Punjab & Haryana High court. Employees of Board/ Corporation/ Statutory bodies established by an act of the state of Punjab who have been holding post outside Punjab on or before 1st January of the year of entrance test that is on or before 1st January, 2010 and their Children/wards/dependents were compiled to do 10th outside Punjab.
  • Children/wards/dependents (whose parents are not alive) of the all those regular Central Government employees of Board/Corporation/Statutory of the Central Government. Who have remained posted inside Punjab for at least two Years out of the three years (2003, 2004 and 2005) proceeding for the year of PPEMT but were posted outside Punjab for someone time. During these years due to which their Children/wards/dependents were outside Punjab. However those who remained posted in Punjab continuously for these three years shall not be exempted as they are equally placed with other Punjab Govt. employees posted in Punjab.
  • Children/wards/dependents (whose parents are not alive) of the all those Punjab Government pensioners who have retired in the before 1st January of the year of entrance test that is on or before 1st January 2010 and have settled outside Punjab on or before 1st January 2010 and their (whose parents are not alive) were compelled I to do 10th outside Punjab.
  • Children/wards/dependents (whose parents are not alive) of those Military/ Paramilitary Forced personal who were born in the territory of Punjab as per their service record at the time of entry into service.
  • Children/Wards/Dependents (Whose parents are not alive) of those Ex-employees of Miltary/Para Military Forces who were born in the territory of Punjab as per their service record at the time of entry into the service and have retired on or after 1st January of the years of entrance test.
  • Candidate seeking admission under foreign Indian students (NRI) categories.
  • Candidate seeking admission under out of state category that has passed qualifying examination from the recognized institutions situated in the state of Punjab.
  • Candidates under J&K migrant category.
